This website was built as a result of my recent interest in the America's Cup Experience. In the course of building ClassicCupChallenge.com for a business associate I became totally immersed in the event called the America's Cup... and the people and yachts that compete for the "Auld Mug".

I started by visiting all the sites on the "Cup" that Google offered up when I searched on "America's Cup". Here's the "collection"... Resource Links...   The two that are the most responsible for getting me "hooked" are: Bill Hughen's AMERICA'S CUP CLASS (ACC) HISTORY, an up-to-date accounting of all IACC yachts, and this list of 12 Meter yachts: 12mR yachts by country on the "12mR Yacht Trivia" webpage which has an important set of links at the bottom. I found that I rarely got the whole story from the sites I visited. I guess I never got past the "why" stage... The more information I found the more I wanted...

Soon I was ordering "coffee table" books on the America's Cup (the "Used Books" area on Amazon.com proved to be a great source at truly great savings!). Here's the complete Bibliography.
